NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE CANADA150 VOLUNTEER SERVICE MEDALLION!

Do you know a volunteer in your community who has made a significant impact in the lives of others? I want to hear from you!

In honour of Canada’s 150th anniversary, I am offering the Canada150 Volunteer Service Medallion in recognition of Edmonton-Manning volunteers who have made a significant impact in their community. Nominations for deserving volunteers who, through volunteerism have enriched the lives of others and have made a lasting impact in their community can be made until September 1, 2017. A presentation ceremony will take place this fall to recognize successful nominees.

Nomination Criteria:

Individual or organization demonstrates initiative, leadership, and creativity in service to others.
Serves as a role model for others in the community.
Improves the overall quality of life of fellow citizens and the community as a whole.

Nominators Must:

Describe the impact the nominee has had on their community.
Include as much of the nominee’s volunteer history as possible.
Ensure the Nominee is a resident of the riding of Edmonton-Manning.
